(better) shots of my final project for this semester of 3D class!

The project was to create a “set design” based on line drawings. I was inspired by The Jetsons and how I visualize the cellars in PotO, as well as a few other things. It all came together to create what became a new civilization on an old world (possibly post-apocalyptic in the future ). Complete with onion houses and a little boat.

The lights you see are all fake tea lights that I butchered so that they’d fit in my set properly. The arch you see that goes over the caves actually represents the canopy of the trees. When you shine a light down it it creates the coolest effect!

I’m really happy about this, I’m usually not the best at 3D things. > v <

The set itself is made up of mostly cardboard, while the houses are aluminum wire, tape, and wooden skewers. The water is actually a transparent trashbag. Who needs to buy plexiglass? Certainly not me! I think I spent less than $10 to make this XD (the cardboard was free)
